From crisis zones to the therapy room, from poets on stage to poets in gardens, amazing things can happen when space is made for people to explore their own stories, to share their stories.
Connections are formed within the self and with one another, offering hope and joy and healing.

Encouraging writing outside the margins, led by artists and activists who are passionate about supporting the underrepresented, the unheard and the marginalized. With their program of courses, events, and opportunities, the Word Association encourages people to find the power in their own stories.

#MeWe International is a network of artists, scientists, and community builders developing tools for creative expression and communication skills-building to advance healing, equity, and social cohesion in a fragmented and polarized world.
Poet, literary artist, mental health advocate, arboretum docent and founder of “Into the Green Workshops.” Her workshops help to unite love of nature with the senses while learning skills to emote and create poetry.
